Pop icon Madonna is still trying to adopt more children from Africa. Recently she tried to adopt a four year old girl named Mercy James but local South African courts have denied the adoption. No reason was given to the media and Madonna is staying quiet on the matter as she goes through the appeal process. Madonna says she wants to help as many African children as she can so that they may one day return to Africa and be of help to the poor countries. She wants to give her adopted children the best health care possible and the best education she can so that they may grow up to be leaders

Music singer Kylie Minogue is trying to fight father time as she has recently spent over $82,000 at an anti-aging spa in Spain. The 40 year old singer has used botox, and has spent a total of 14 days at the SHA Wellness Clinic to try to battle the aging process. She signed up for many treatments at the spa as she tries to help her body recover from her battle with cancer. Treatments included a $6000 facial. Spa reps say she had a great time during her stay and that she felt every penny was worth the price. She is said to be feeling much better after her long spa visits.

Pop diva Madonna is doing just fine following her breakup from movie maker Guy Richie. She has recently splurged on a huge mansion in Manhattan that cost her $40 Million US. It is located on the Upper East Side and is close to the subway. The house has a 2 car garage a 3000sq m garden, nine fireplaces, an elevator, a wine cellar with a grotto, 13 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. Reports say that Madonna is planning to remodel the home now to suit the needs of her ever growing adopted family. Madonna currently has two adopted children and is trying to adopt a third at the moment.

George Harrison is finally getting his own Hollywood Star. His Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney was on hand for the ceremony as well as his widow Olivia. Other Hollywood celebrities were there to honour the famous Beatle who wrote classics like Here comes the Sun and Something. George went on to a fine solo career following the break up of the Beatles and later would join Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne as part of the Travelling Wilburys. He would later be diagnosed with lung cancer and eventually passed away in 2001. His star can now be seen on Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Actor and movie producer Woody Allen is suing American Apparel clothing brand for $10 million dollars over billboard ads using his image without consent. The clothing company ran a series of billboard ads and advertisements on their website featuring Woody Allen in various shots. The problem is that Woody did not allow the images to be used and does not endorse the product. American Apparel thinks the lawsuit is superfluous claiming that the image of Woody Allen is worth nowhere near $10 million and that he is not the star he thinks he is.

For those that didn’t know Jessica Simpson has a line of swimsuits that she launched some 2 years ago. Well that swimsuit line just received a huge boost from billionaire and real estate mogul Donald Trump. Jessica’s swimsuits will be featured in the Miss USA beauty pageant which is owned by the Trump Organization. Jessica Simpson designed special white and gold bikinis for the event and cost around $104 a piece. The pageant models also wore $88 bright green string bikinis during a pre-pageant photo shoot that promoted the event.

Dina Lohan the mom of 22 year old actress Lindsay Lohan is complaining that the media circus surrounding her daughter is just getting way to out of hand and that the media needs to back off to give her some space. Dina complains that the media goes too deep into Lindsay’s personal life. This all follows the latest media coverage surrounding Lindsay’s split for her lesbian DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson. Her mom is going as far as suggesting for their family to start leaking false news just to throw the media off.

Police in California have arrested a 26 year old woman who was sneaking around Britney Spears house wearing camouflage clothing. Miranda Tozier-Robbins was arrest snooping around the pop stars Cabalas, California home trying to photos of Britney the same day she was set to appear in concert in Los Angeles. Police are unsure what the woman was trying to do at her home but she did have a camera with her and was snooping about. The woman was taken into custody, processed and later released with charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct.
